We are excited to announce the November 2024 release of WaveBot for the public in its Beta version (Release date: 13 November 2024). This update brings a host of new features, enhancements, and options for creating and customizing your very own chatbot.
New Features in WaveBot Beta (Version 1.0.0)
- Create Chatbot Option
The new update includes an easy-to-use option to create a custom chatbot for your business or service. You can now define your chatbot's identity, behaviour, and instructions all within the platform. - Chatbot Customization Features:
- Chatbot Name: Enter the name of your chatbot. This helps personalize the experience for users who interact with it.
- Prompt: Enter a prompt to define the general behavior and personality of your chatbot. (Max: 1500 characters).
- Large Instruction: Add detailed instructions about your company, product, or service that you want the chatbot to use. (Max: 2500 characters).
- API Key Integration
- Your API Key: The ability to enter and manage your API key Gemini. Simply create and enter your API key to get started.
- Allowed Domain for Embedding
- You can now specify which domain your chatbot is allowed to be embedded on. Once the domain is added, it cannot be edited, so make sure to double-check the domain before creating your chatbot.
- Embed Your Chatbot
- Embedding Feature: WaveBot now allows you to embed your chatbot directly into your website or application. This makes it easy to provide an interactive experience for your users by integrating the chatbot where it's needed most.
How to Use the New Features:
- Step 1: Create a new chatbot by entering the chatbot name, prompt, and large instruction that defines its purpose and behaviour.
- Step 2: Enter your API key to integrate Gemini.
- Step 3: Add the allowed domain where your chatbot will be embedded, ensuring your domain is correct before finalizing the creation.
- Step 4: Once created, use the embed code provided to add the chatbot to your website or app.
